CROWNS AND BRIDGES

The Solution to Damaged Teeth

A dental crown is a cap that covers the entire visible portion of a damaged tooth, restoring its shape, size, strength and appearance. Crowns are needed when a tooth has been damaged due to decay, injury or a large filling.

Bridges, on the other hand, are used to replace one or more missing teeth by anchoring artificial teeth to the natural teeth on either side of the gap.

Dos and Don'ts for Crowns and Bridges:

  • Practice good oral hygiene, including regular brushing and flossing
  • Avoid hard and sticky foods that could damage your crown or bridge
  • Visit your dentist regularly for check-ups and cleanings

At RIEA Medical and Dental Implant Centre, we offer a range of crown and bridge options, including porcelain, ceramic, zirconia and metal options. Our experienced dentists will help you choose the best option for your needs and goals.
